Numerical Productions Horizontal CNC Machining services utilizes 4-axis (1 degree index), dual pallet, GE Fanuc controlled CNC’s to provide customers with a reliable, accurate, and fast source for their machining needs. Capable of handling a wide variety of materials, including but not limited to Cast Iron, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, and Aluminum. We can hold positional tolerances to 25 microns and diametrical tolerances to 15 microns in long deep half bore applications. We also utilize a Renishaw Probing System for part identification, alignment, and in-process verification within a large machining envelope. Established in 1979, we have over 30 years of machining experience having completed jobs for the automotive, off-highway heavy ...
Numerical Productions utilizes CNC Vertical Machining centers to complete any machining that could not be accessed in the HMC or secondary operations. We also utilize these machines for full 4 –axis contouring with the ability to use a hydraulic actuated tail stock to support long or heavy parts within the envelope of the CNC machining center.
Numerical Productions utilizes Okuma CNC Turning centers for high precision 4-axis turning using a C-axis and live tooling located in the turret to produce high quality products in an efficient manner. We also have the ability to the transfer between spindles for effective and efficient complete one-off operation on a smaller Mazak Turning center.
Numerical Productions Quality Assurance department supports the production of all parts with the implementation of first article inspections, scheduled gage calibration, and daily in-process CMM inspection to verify positional tolerances during the entire production process. Refer to the list below for a description of additional inspection equipment utilized by our company to ensure quality results for our customers.
Numerical Productions grinding department is capable of handling some tight tolerances for flatness, parallelism, and surface finish on a routine basis. This is accomplished through the utilization of our Blanchard and Arter grinding systems for surface grinding work.
Numerical Productions utilizes the Magnus 3 stage agitation parts washer system to maintain cleanliness with a 50 micron filter, with a rust preventative solution applied in the final stage before parts are carefully packaged in accordance to customer specifications.
Numerical Productions Engineering Department strives to provide the manufacturing process with specific operational drawings, tool sheets, programs, loading instructions and photo documentation to aid in the assistance for the manufacturing personnel to easily understand the particular process required. Additionally the Engineering Department can develop a manufacturing process from scratch or assist customers to reverse engineer a particular part or product.
